Along the road are signs. Signs that all have things in common. They each say something along the lines of “Danger: Roadblock Ahead”. As the camera zooms out, we can see that the man at the head of all these signs is VWE Legend, Ryan Hughes. The Chief Batmanite stares in to the camera lens, intimidating the viewer. He wears a hooded top, which looks greyed from over-usage. The hood is up, causing a shadow to form over his eyes. After a moment of silence, Ryan speaks.
“Roadblocks are a bitch, aren't they?”
He smiles to himself at this ironic statement, but the smile soon fades. He lowers his hood, revealing his face in a new light. He sets off at a strolling pace, ready to walk the road littered with the much hated signs.
“They are. They stop the working man from reaching his workplace. This causes him to lose his pay, or lose his job. It stops the mother getting to the supermarket to feed her children. They would probably starve, and rot away, never to be recognised in this cruel world. They stop the troops reaching the battlefield, and they cost us wars.”
“Truth is, roadblocks stop us doing what we want to do.”
Ryan continues on his stroll, determined on lecturing the audience about this topic. In the distance, we can see an abnormal sign approaching.
“There are many reasons on why we hate these things. Even I hate them. You know what? I wish they would go away...”
“But not yet.”
Ryan stops at the abnormal sign, and on closer inspection, it is a sign portraying the face of Ryan Hughes, with the word “ROADBLOCK” emblazoned on the front. The reasons for this seem to become clearer, but The Batman tells the viewer- just to be sure.
“You see? I am a roadblock. I am the roadblock that stops the cancers of this world from destroying MY company. I am the roadblock keeping us in existence. I am the roadblock stopping Metal Dragon from killing Virtual Wrestling Entertainment.”
Ryan finally turns to fully face the camera, and he lowers his tone slightly.
“So if you think they are bitches, call me a bitch. If you hate them, then hate me. I just don't care. Metal Dragon...”
Ryan puts his hood up, and the camera zooms in to his face.
“Just call me a roadblock- you will NEVER pass through me.”
