The main event is imminent on the third edition of SNX. The crowd waits for the proceedings to come underway. The bell sounds thrice, ringing through the air and breaking some of its terseness. Stacey: "The following match is scheduled for one fall and will have no disqualifications!""Jerk-off" by Tool hits the PA and the big screen (fuck it, I'm new, no idea what it's called here) shows a montage of Metal Dragon hitting various wrestling moves on various people. The crowd boos, wanting to see the Tennessean's blood spilled after the way he verbally desecrated VWE last week. MD steps out into the aisle and the jeering becomes louder, but is ignored by its target. The Man of Golden Words nonchalantly walks down the ramp wearing his signature "Metal Dragon: It Satisfies" shirt, with black tights and boots on his lower body. "Introducing first, from Nashville, Tennessee... Weighing in at 220 pounds, Metal Dragon!"After briefly dying down, the booing strikes up again upon announcement of the wrestler's name. Bryan: "Oh look, it's that FAGGOT!"Joey: "He's talented and is a big acquisition, but I can't help but want to see him get kicked up and down the ring by Ryan Hughes tonight. Metal Dragon has hated VWE for a long time, and it makes me absolutely sick to see him actually competing on the roster.""SHIT! I hope he gets his ass... SHOVED UP HIS ASS!"Dragon slides into the ring and gets up, then removes his shirt and tosses it into the corner. A stagehand tries to retrieve it for safekeeping, but MD quickly yells, "Don't touch the shirt!" and the guy backs off. The Tennessean Terrorizer runs to the far ropes, turning around as he is about to hit them, and bounces off to rebound off of them. MD slows down and stops in the center of the ring, then crouches to wait for his opponent to arrive as the Tool song fades out. A small chant of "Batman!" builds up among the fans, slowly growing louder and louder with the passing seconds. TBC Ryan

As the Man of Golden Words (or not so golden if you support VWE) readies himself; stretching his biceps and triceps as he pulls the ropes back and forth. The “Batman!” chant continues, much to the level that most of the attendees in the Portland Arena are on their feet in full voice.
Joey- "Listen to the crowd here- I can't believe that they are actually CHEERING for Ryan. Talking about a united course.” Bryan- "Damn right- FUCK! Dragon is going to get- TITTIES- schooled tonight!”
The titantron flickers, and a silhouette of a human body comes in to view on a blue background. It is the voice of Ozzy Osbourne that pierces the night like usual, with the song “Perry Mason” playing through the speakers.
“On his way to dinner when it took him by suprise And with one pull of the trigger he would vanish overnight Dancing by the roadside, holding on for dear life Then a gun from out of nowhere made a widow of his wife”
The lights suddenly flash on, causing the excited fans to begin shouting and screaming for the Batman. Ryan comes out to a surprisingly raucous reception from the fans as the titantron shows Ryan using his trademark Strikeout finisher on several opponents from other federations and recent footage of Ryan performing the Mancunian Mash Up, Spiker, Batman Lock and other big moves on opponents from past federations. Ryan is wearing hooded top that bears the slogan “Blame it on the Batmanites”, an obvious tip of the hat to his previous endeavours. Hughes looks around the arena, obviously surprised to be welcomed in to the battlefield like this. Regardless, he walks on.
“I don't mind, single file down the runway Feelin' fine, and I'll see you my friend Over and over again”
Stacey- "Introducing the opponent, hailing from Manchester, England, standing at 6'5 and weighing in at 251lbs, he is the self proclaimed “Chief Batmanite”.... Ryan Hughes!"
Joey- "Ryan has entered the impact zone, so to speak Bryan- "Fuck yes! Dragon is going to be raped! IN THE FAGGOT ASS!"
“Who can we get on the case? We need Perry Mason Someone to put you in place Calling Perry Mason, again”
Ryan walks slowly down one side of the ramp way as he actually lets the fans touch the body of the former VWE Champ. Ryan enters the ring and he heads to the turnbuckle. When on the second rope, he raises his fist, while staring down each and every fan in the arena. The music dies down, and the staredown begins. These two men have been in EVPW together for a long time, they have never fought one on one. The bad blood finally comes to the boil, and the two veterans lock up for the first time.

As expected, Hughes wins the test of strength, using his size and brawn to force MD back a few steps. Dragon thrusts his head forward, attempting to headbutt his way out of the disadvantage, but the strike to the sternum fails to faze the Chief Batmanite. VWE's founder leans down, forcing Dragon to bend forward as well. Ryan uses this window of opportunity to throw a knee up, slamming it into the Tennessean's chest before quickly turning to the side and wrapping his arm around MD's head. With a side headlock applied, Hughes cranks his opponent's neck to soften him up, following that up by running forward. The EVPW tag champion jumps and falls into a sitting position only for his foe to slip out of the would-be Bulldog. The Batman lands on the mat and MD immediately stands up to throw a quick kick into Ryan's back. Hughes flinches in pain as Dragon immediately follows up by bending an arm and dropping his body forward, landing his elbow on the Mancunian Mauler's shoulder. The Man of Golden Words scrambles to shove Ryan's upper body down to the mat and then places a forearm across the heavyweight's face, making the first pinfall attempt in this young match. The referee slides into place and swings his arm at the canvas, but Ryan throws his whole body up just as the first count of the fall is sounded.
"Quick kick out at one by Hughes there. These two are starting off pretty technical."
"Ryan needs to use his size and strength, or else he'll just end up BEATEN IN THIS FUCKING MATCH... LIKE A PIECE OF SHIT!"
Hughes rolls toward the ropes and the two competitors begin getting up, reaching their feet at the same time. Metal Dragon charges at the Englishman, and Ryan prepares to counter his intentions by ducking. The quick thinking of MD prevails as he throws a leg up, kicking the Batman in the face. Hughes leans back against the ropes, dazed somewhat by the impact as MD steps back and prepares to bumrush him again. The bigger wrestler plays possum for a split-second as Dragon extends his arm and jumps, then Ryan ducks the attempted leaping clothesline. Hughes puts his hands on MD's abdomen and pushes up, trying to flip the middleweight over the ropes, but his familiar adversary grabs the top rope to avoid spilling to the floor. Instead, the Nashvillian lands on the apron.
Hughes turns around and cocks back his arm, then throws a huge punch in his target's direction. The technician lifts his own arm and shifts it to the side to brush away the strike, then fits in a quick jab to the nose. Before Ryan can stagger away, MD's right hand grasps his hair to hold him in place. The left elbow of Metal Dragon then goes to work, swinging and colliding with the Batmanite's facial features three successive times. Hughes is let go and quickly takes the opportunity to throw his foot between two of the ropes, kicking MD in the stomach and stopping any intentions he might have of continuing his assault. Dragon firmly grips the top rope to avoid a most uncomfortable fall. Ryan backs away to gather himself for a moment, then rushes forward and kicks through the ropes again, connecting in roughly the same spot as his last kick did. The Metallic One manages to hold on to the top rope once again. An impatient Hughes grabs MD's throat with one hand and hair with the other hand, then thrusts his head forward to slam his forehead against that of his opponent. Hughes frees his opponent's head, seeing that he is close to losing his grip on the rope, and winds up before hitting Dragon in the jaw with a fierce right. MD's world goes blurry as he falls to the side, then tumbles off of the apron before landing on the cold floor below.
"YES!"
"Nice hook by the Batman! I wouldn't be surprised if Dragon just spit out a tooth down there!"
"He's from Tennessee- TENNEPISS, he has few enough to begin with."
Hughes walks to another side of the ring before stepping through the ropes and hopping down. A few steel chairs sit next to the commentary desk, and Ryan points at one indicating that he wants it. The timekeeper obliges, bestowing the weapon upon VWE's current knight-in-shining-armor. Chair in hand, the Chief Batmanite makes his way around ringside, drawing closer to where his opponent stirs on the floor. MD scrambles to his feet and stumbles toward his mutually hated nemesis, absentmindedly watching the chair be raised over Ryan's head before heading right at him. The metal object collides with the Tennessean's head but is unable to knock him down, simply turning him in the other direction where he stumbles toward the ring steps. Dragon slumps onto the steps and rests his head there, befuddled by the latest object in a series of many to hit him in the head in his wrestling career. While admiring the dent that his opponent's cranium created in the chair, Hughes pursues his victim. Metal turns around to face Ryan, revealing some blood that begins to traverse its way down his face. The heavyweight, motivated by the wound he created, charges with the chair raised overhead. His aggression fails to pay off, however, as MD slips to the side and jumps slightly before kicking both feet out at Ryan's left knee. Hughes is clipped and predictably falls forward, smashing into the ring steps. Dragon rolls away to safety to recover some while his opponent seats himself against the side of the ring while clutching his knee.
"Metal Dragon managed to escape what would've been a monster chairshot there! Ryan Hughes definitely does not screw around when it comes to weapons!"
"Neither of 'em do! Dragon's already -fuck- bleeding! The hardcore stuff will make them bleed a bunch and SHIT will be EVERYWHERE!"
The Wrestler Formerly Known As Epyon pushes himself to all fours and shakes out the cobwebs from the match so far. MD shoves himself to a vertical base and looks at the steel steps that sit close to him, then reaches to them and grabs the handles on their top half. The steps are dislodged and now in Dragon's grasp as he scans Hughes's body for an ideal place to target. Seeing the knee that he has already done some damage to, the Metallic One lifts the stairs up and drops to his knees before thrusting them downward. A dull clunking sound is audible as the metal smashes into Ryan's kneecap, eliciting a yelp of agony from the Flaw-Pointer-Outer. Dragon then drops the steps to the side and grabs his opponent's hair. MD pulls his weakened rival up, then turns him around and shoves him into the ring apron. After grabbing him by the waist and rolling him under the bottom rope to the inside of the squared circle, MD climbs onto the apron and steps through the ropes.
Hughes lies face-down on the canvas, writhing in pain. For good measure, Dragon walks over to his lower body and grabs the Mancunian's left ankle. The Smokeless Suplexer turns Ryan's leg so that his knee bends at a right ankle, then places his foot on the back of Hughes's thigh. MD then lifts Ryan's leg up before slamming it down on the mat while simultaneously stomping it, sending yet another fresh jolt of pain through the Batman's already afflicted limb. The Tennessean then turns the leg he holds over, thereby forcing all of Ryan's body to turn over, before hooking that leg and sliding in to perform a cover. The official gets into position:
1...
2...
Hughes lifts a shoulder, prompting cheers from the crowd and a small sigh from the nefarious Orchard Stoner. The founding father of VWE rolls onto his stomach and pounds the mat, prompting a slow and methodical clapping from the spectators. Eager to shut them up, Dragon gets up and grabs the Briton by the hair before pulling him up and wrapping an arm around his head. MD tucks his head under Ryan's arm as well before grabbing the Batman's waist with his free hand, then plants his feet and pulls back. The adrenaline-filled Ryan Hughes refuses to be lifted, however. Instead, Hughes punches his opponent in the ribs, stunning him slightly. Another quick punch to the ribs follows, which is quickly succeeded by the Mancunian Madman spinning around and dropping into a seated position. Dragon is forced to fall back and his neck drops onto Ryan's shoulder.
"There's a Neckbreaker to turn this match around!"
"Yeah! Kick his ass some more!"
As the fanfare of the crowd blocks out some of the pain in his knee, Ryan turns around to pull MD up with him. Metal Dragon's arm is grabbed and he involuntarily runs toward the corner courtesy of an Irish whip from Hughes, and he inevitably crashes chest-first into the padded turnbuckles. The Man of Golden Words stumbles back and is quickly turned around by the hungry Batman, who punches him in the stomach to double him over. Ryan then grabs Dragon's hair and leads him to the ropes, peering over the ropes for a certain something he sees outside of the ring. Hughes steps through the trio of cords, but leaves MD on the other side. The Mancunian proceeds to wrap his arm around the American's head, then reach over the ropes to grab his waist. The 220-pounder is lifted up and over his captor, being ejected from the ring on a collision course for the ring steps he left lying on the floor a matter of a couple minutes ago.
*CRASH*
"OH MY GOD!"
"AWESOME!"
Ryan's landing is much softer than that of the middleweight's, being that he was able to turn to the side and land on the apron before rolling to the floor. The thunderous roar of approval from the fans transitions into a "Ryan Hughes!" chant. Lying on the concrete and breathing heavily, Hughes is able to acknowledge the chant by lifting an arm into the air triumphantly, staring at it while he also stares at the ceiling.
