As Saturday Night X-Treme returns from a commercial break, the camera pans around the sold out arena, with many a fan trying their hardest to grab the cameraman’s attention and have the rare honor to mouth “Hi Mom! I’m on TV!” towards the screen for the folks back home. As soon as the commentators are ready, the production team in the back switches the feed, so it portrays the two commentators, smiling at the camera.
Joey- "Welcome back to the première episode of Saturday Night X-Treme. We had a great night, and now it is time to find out who will be the fourth man in the prestigious VWE Title Tourney.” Bryan- "And both these men have the calibre to turn this in to a finals match, but that's the luck of the draw, eh?” Joey- "That's right. Our final match involves two men with great history behind them. In one corner, Ryan Hughes. A man who has been with VWE from the start, and a man who has won many a championship.” Bryan- "But look at his opponent, Martin Prince. II saw the last match he was in, and he pulled off an epic match with some dude with a weird name."
The titantron flickers, and a silhouette of a human body comes in to view on a blue background. It is the voice of Ozzy Osbourne that pierces the night like usual, with the song “Perry Mason” playing through the speakers.
“On his way to dinner when it took him by suprise And with one pull of the trigger he would vanish overnight Dancing by the roadside, holding on for dear life Then a gun from out of nowhere made a widow of his wife”
The lights suddenly flash on, causing the excited fans to begin throwing their negative energy at the Batman. Ryan comes out to a horrible reception from the fans as the titantron shows Ryan using his trademark Strikeout finisher on several opponents from other federations and recent footage of Ryan performing the Mancunian Mash Up, Spiker, Batman Lock and other big moves on opponents from past federations. Ryan is wearing a shirt that bears the slogan “I Killed Archie Mitchell”, an obvious play on English culture..
“I don't mind, single file down the runway Feelin' fine, and I'll see you my friend Over and over again”
Stacey- "The following contest is a no disqualifications match scheduled for one fall, and is the fourth match in the VWE World Championship tournament! Introducing the challenger, hailing from Manchester, England, standing at 6'5 and weighing in at 251lbs, he is the self proclaimed “Chief Batmanite”.... Ryan Hughes!"
Joey- "Well here comes the Batman, and he looks as healthy as ever.” Bryan- "Is that all you care about? As long as he can rip someone limb from limb, I am happy."
“Who can we get on the case? We need Perry Mason Someone to put you in place Calling Perry Mason, again”
Ryan walks slowly down one side of the ramp way slapping away the hands of the fans who try to touch the former VWE Champ. Ryan enters the ring and he heads to the turnbuckle. When on the second rope, he raises his fist, while staring down each and every fan in the arena. The music dies down but the damage has been done as you can now hear the fans shouting “FUCK YOU BATMAN”

The fans have their attention turned towards the stage, which is brightly lit up with the arena lights dimming themselves down to complete darkness. The Titantron begins screeching with feedback before displaying a match on-screen.
Martin Prince ducks a clothesline from Xantaxm and makes a quick 360 dergree turn to face his bloodied opponent. He delivers a strong kick to the abdominal region and takes a hold of the blood and sweat stained hair. Prince jumps up into the air and brings a knee to Xantaxm's head, driving it in as he hits the canvas hard. Both men fall to the mat and lay motionless as camera flashes go off and the crowd chanting their names.
~ Colin "The Fuzz" Jennings "My god, this has been an all-out brawl between these two managerial titans. Nothing has been held back at all." ~ "Big Al" Mulligan "Nothing except the pure pain and tenacity of being beaten to within an inch of their own lives."
Martin Prince is able to squirm to the side and raise an arm, placing it directly over Xant's chest. The referee quickly slides onto his knees and raises his arm to make the count.
1.. 2.. 3!
At the exact call of the three count, "This Sadness Will Never End" begins blaring through the PA System. The heavy riff is accompanied by a simultaneous lightshow. The fans begin cheering in excitement as the lights on stage begin re-directing themselves to the entrance of the stage.
"Our legs begin to break We've walked this path for far too long My lungs, they start to ache But still we carry on I'm choking on my words Like I got a noose around my neck I can't believe it's come to this And dear, I fear That this ship is sinking tonight"
A figure approaches from the darkness and stands in the light, dressed in white short cut tights, knee pads and boots, as well as a white sleeveless coat. The fans continues cheering as Martin Prince raises his arms overhead, the lights returning as he does so.
~ Stacey "And his opponent, weighing in at 230 pounds. He hails from Atlanta, Georgia. He is a Gods and Heretics Wrestling Hall of Famer of 2009. He is.. Martin Prince!"
Martin begins walking down the ramp, exchanging high-fives with the fans and smiling for the cameras. Ryan Hughes looks down at his opponent from the ring, a sour expression hidden by a smirk shortly after as he watches. Martin looks up and raises an eyebrow, wondering what could be racing through the mind of his English opponent.
~ Joey "To be watching these two about to enter a match, it's almost captivating. Especially with the history that these two share, of previous federations and whatnot. It's like being taken through a historical documentary." ~ Bryan "Damn straight it is, it just goes to show that not only does VWE give us a great show. It contains an almost masterful selection of superstars on it's roster."
Martin walks up the steel steps and enters the ring slowly, looking at his opponent for a split second before taking residency in one of the corners. He removes his coat and places it into the referee's hands. Prince hops on the spot in an effort to get the adrenaline pumping, watching as his opponent begins pulling down on the ropes, doing the same. The two stop their activities after being called in by the referee, the two men approaching each other slowly. Sweat running down their faces as they stare face to face, awaiting for the sound of the bell that might never be heard.
DING, DING, DING.
Hughes acts first in a pre-emptive tie-up. Martin is driven back a few paces as the Mancunian Mauler takes advantage of his opponent's awareness. Martin replies with a mere shove, pushing Hughes off of him and back into the center of the ring. The two stare down once more as they begin circling around the ring.

Martin and Ryan prepare for what is going to be the biggest match in VWE history, at least for this week. Martin slowly stalks closer and closer to the Batman, with Ryan employing traits of cowardice; inching away, slowly reaching behind for the solace of the turnbuckle. The GHW Hall of Famer steps up his charge, pelting at Ryan. The Mancunian simply clutches the ropes behind him and curls himself around them, giving the referee no other option but to step in between the pair and usher Prince back- giving the wily mentalist a moment to compose himself. Martin rolls his eyes back, actually showing disappointment to his opponent and his cheap tactics. He calls over to the Batman, saying “Does bipolar affect your balls, Ryan?”. Ryan's lips curl in to a snide smirk, and the VWE Original removes himself from the ropes, and slowly returns to the center of the ring once more. Martin approaches again, his desire to maim and torture the tormented one growing by the second. Again, Martin begins to run at his opponent, stretching his right arm out, looking for a clothesline. The speedier Hughes bobs his head under the outstretched arm of the GHW legend, and turns around, tanning Prince's cheek with his forehand. The Crimson leader staggers back with a look of shock on his face, while Ryan laughs at the veteran.
“What a lack of respect from the Englishman.” “I call it mind games Joey. Ryan is simply picking apart Martin from the inside.”
Martin stares wide eyed at the canvas, rubbing his stubbly cheek before snapping his head to the side to face Ryan at a slanted angle. Prince seethes at the disrespect being shown to him, and runs at the cocky challenger, spearing him to the ground to the delight of the VWE faithful. The veteran cocks his fist back, before landing punch after punch to Ryan's young face. Each blow leaves it's calling card- with red blotches appearing on the Batman's chops. The older mans seemed to be in a mind of his own until he was brought back to earth by the voice of the referee, telling him to get off the torso of the Mancunian, whose face is scrunched in agony. Martin complies reluctantly, pressing his fists in to Ryan's chest as he gets up. After taking a few steps back, he rushes forward once more, stomping on the smug bastard a few times for good measure. Ryan takes up the foetal position, clutching his stomach whilst rocking slightly. For the first time in this match, the older man smiles, knowing he has the youngster in his control. Bending over, he lifts the former Outcast up by his brown hair. Ryan groans as he is brought to a vertical base, but the sound is silenced as a swift right hook lands on his jaw, knocking Ryan back towards the turnbuckle. Martin follows, connecting with more punches to the Mancunian Mastadon, making him rest against the turnbuckle for some form of solace. The older man heaves the lighter man up, so he is sat on the top rope. Martin joins him on the second rope, as the referee shouts for Martin to let Ryan down, which is ironic due to what is about to happen. Martin gives a sarcastic nod to the official, before hooking his arm over Ryan's head, while hooking Ryan's arm over his own. With one big burst of energy, the debutant lifts Ryan up and over his head, and both men land with a crunch on to the canvas from the superplex.
“Hell no! The referee said to bring Ryan down! Hand him the victory, this is a DQ!” “But Bryan, there are no DQ's...” “I don't like you, Joey.”
Martin flops on to his stomach, and looks ahead. He sees the Chief Batmanite lay spread eagled on the mat, and pushes himself forward to cover the challenger. In his mind, he knows that Ryan won't go down as easy, but a chance is a chance nonetheless. The crowd shouts along as the referee slaps the mat. “ONE! TWO! TH-AWW!” Ryan pushes his shoulder up, which is just what Prince expected. Martin stands up, and waits for his opponent to join him on his feet. Ryan eventually rises, only to be locked in a three quarter facelock by the more experienced foe. The crowd cheers in anticipation as they know what DDT's can do to a man. Ryan however, has other plans. As Martin tries to plant Ryan's head to the mat, the Outcasts pulls himself back, preventing the execution. Once the Master of the Cliffhanger gives up on the maneuver, Ryan seizes the opportunity to hook Martin's leg and lift the champ in to the air, dropping him for a surprising fisherman's suplex. The ref counts again, but once again, it is a two count. Once the fall is broken, Ryan rolls himself to the opposite side of the ring, sitting in the corner as Martin holds his head from the impact. The former GHW Champion clutches the ropes, and pulls himself up to a standing position. Martin is still gathering his bearings in the center of the ring, giving Ryan the chance to prepare for what he will do next. He clutches the perpendicular ropes at either side of him, getting ready to launch himself at Martin, who slowly rises to his feet. Once Prince is fully vertical, he begins to pivot around, much to the fans dismay. Despite shouts of “Don't do it Martin!” from the concerned crowd, Martin turns to face his eager challenger, and at that moment, Hughes begins his charge. Sprinting towards Prince, he raises his right leg up.
“BIG FUCKING KICK TO HEAD.... MISSED!” “OOOH, THAT HAS TO HURT!”
Unfortunately for the tormented one, it wasn't the hurting that everyone expected. The resulting scream from the Chief Batmanite indicates that things didn't go too well. As the double screen replay wipes on to the screen, we can see that Martin ducked under Ryan's high boot, leaving the Batman no where to go but the ropes. One leg goes East, one goes West and the rest of him went South. As the fans begin to chant derogatory comments as a humorous review of the situation, Prince shuffles towards his foe, and clutches the rope that Ryan is precariously perched on. Without warning, he begins pulling and pushing the rope up and down to cause a great deal of pain to Ryan's testicular area. After several bounces, Ryan flops off, and topples helplessly to the outside.
Martin happily follows his enemy to the outside of the ring, stalking him as the referee begins his ten count. Ryan staggers on, clutching his package, and Martin finally catches up, clubbing the Mancunian Mauler with a stiff forearm to the back of the head. Ryan tumbles to the barely padded mat, landing on his hands and knees. The Master of the Cliffhanger decides to pander to the crowd, half kicking, half shoving his posterior with his boot, causing the Batman to fall flat on his face. Martin turns to the fans, raising his arms to incite a roar of appreciation from the wrestling nuts in the building. Unfortunately, he lingers in this pose for too long, giving Ryan a chance to gain his bearings once more. As Martin turns around after heeding the warnings of the fans, Ryan quickly springs in to action, levelling the older man with a lightning-fast roundhouse kick to the face, causing Martin's head to snap to the side as he falls to the ground.
“Martin just got his brain scrambled!” “No he didn't, he got it booted from his skull!”
Martin stares with vacant eyes at the guard rail in front of him, as Ryan rolls in to the ring, before rolling back in a change of heart, wanting to inflict more hurt. Gripping the older man by his blonde locks, he drags Martin to his feet. Deciding to make use of the environment, Ryan drives his knee in to the veteran's gut, before throwing him in to the guardrail back-first. Martin's face looks distorted as the agonising pain shoots up his back, and it isn't helped when Ryan begins punching the older man in the forehead, drawing a trickle of blood, stemming from the VWE newbie's eyebrow. Ryan stares down at his fallen adversary, before lifting him up once more. Grabbing hold of the champs arm, Ryan exerts his force in to throwing Martin in to the steel steps, but he is thwarted when Martin turns the tables, countering the manoeuvre and causing Ryan to crash in to the metal. Ryan's knee collides with the steel in an unholy manner, making him somersault over them, landing on his back.
“Now that has to hurt!” “No Joey, crashing in to the steel steps is better than sex. Jesus.”
